SOME GIRL SCOUT FUN.......

Last Saturday was the South Central Community Action Partnership Free BBQ. The Girl Scout had a booth there. We had a great time and meet a lot of new girl that want to become Girl Scout and some moms that want to start up new troops in new areas. We love all the leaders and girls that came out to help out in the booth. The activities we had was to make a bookmark and/or hake sack. The girls loved helping the new kids learn to make these things. Thanks again to all that came out to help. Enjoy the picture and have a wonderful day!!!

HOT AUGUST NIGHTS........

Welcome to Troop #290's Blog.... I had 4 girl show up to a community service job. It was Hot August Nights. It was on August 13, 2009. The girls did really well. All they did was walk around with trash bag and pick up the plate from the dinner that night. We were there for about 2 hours. The troop will get a little money for doing this.
